Fernanda Velter has been working for IBM, in the field of data protection, for over 10 years and for a variety of clients across Europe. During this time, before the entrance of GDPR, she became familiar with data protection legislation from various countries, such as Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Rusia and Nordic countries and based on them, she elaborated compliance strategies in the IT field.
At the moment, Fernanda is in charge of the “Security & Privacy” practice at IBM Romania, also dedicated to the provision of such services to customers in Europe. In parallel, she was “chosen” to manage GDPR deployment in IBM’s development and maintenance services centers in Europe.
