Sergiu Cătălin Petrea is Founding Partner and General Manager of Tecto Architecture, an architectural office in Romania, specialized in sustainable building design, energy performance of buildings and the principles of multi-comfort applied to them. He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture – the Basics of Design at the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest. He graduated from the Master of Advanced Design in 2005 and has a doctoral degree in Architecture in the field of Emergency Architecture in 2011. He is Deputy Chair of the Romanian Association for Sustainable Local Development (ARDLD), dealing with topics related to extreme poverty, patrimony, experiments and urban regeneration strategies.
