With a technical and economic background, Cristian Vasiliu led the first joint representative office of Chamber of the Commerce and Industry of Romania and of Romexpo fairs and exhibition company abroad, in Istanbul – Turkey.
Since 2009, after 15 years of experience in international relations and exhibitions industry, Cristian coordinates ROFMA – the Romanian Association of Facility Management, as General Director, being actively involved in many development projects of the facility management sector in Romania.
Cristian Vasiliu has a significant contribution to the development of this new field of activity, coordinating ROFMA actions in order to obtain official recognition for the occupation of facility manager in Romania, as well as to achieving the occupational standard for this profession.
Cristian Vasiliu is also coordinating the sole governmentally approved training course in facility management specialization, and is a lecturer as well. Additionally, he is the initiator and the manager of the ROFMA educational platform, in due course to become operational.
